What’s Special About Apr 17?
Today is International Haiku Poetry Day, an initiative of The Haiku Foundation (https://thehaikufoundation.org/).
Haiku is widely known as the 5–7–5 poetry, arranging 17 syllables into three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables.
Classical Haiku (in Japanese) requires the use of natural imagery, otherwise is classified as Senryu.
