Not Much Today: 01
Dec 3, 2020 Thursday, the weather is gloomy.
On a business meeting, I noticed one thing — many people like to say, “The company has been through many difficult times in the past. I believe it will survive this trouble too.”
Maybe they do believe thus when they say it, maybe not.
It’s like a person hospitalized for a fatal disease saying, “I have recovered from many illnesses throughout my life…”
The truth is you never know if you will always lucky, and no trouble is created equal. No disease is ever the same as others.
More funny — the bigger the company, the deeper the predicament, the more people are likely to claim faith in a natural turning point which oftentimes does not exist.
What shall I call it?
Blind faith? Or maybe self anesthesia?
