Gratitude 365: Don’t Kill Time, Live it.

People say “kill time” when they mean wasting time. I prefer another similar phrase, “while away.” Both mean spending time without a clear goal in mind, but no one can kill time — the most they can do is kill a small fraction of their lives.

Today my wife and I have whiled away the whole day at home, literally doing nothing.

That’s what Sunday means — Sabbath, the day for rest and worship.
