Born in the morning,
the gentle breeze of Spring, foredawn —
so I got my name.
Time flies and life too —
after I turned forty — time
flies faster, life too.
I love animals,
plants, sunshine, books and pen,
my wife, what have you.

the old bag lady
gaunt and bony silhouette
a small question mark
windy all day —
when it abates at dusk
the exhausted flags
a seagull takes wing
before people get near —
flies back when they pass
lunch hour
more and more eaters flood in
the waitresses frown
songs of the eighties
play and replay and replay
tears of memory
the older black cat
slaps the little white kitten
for the fresh tuna
the bird family
chip and chirp — disagree on
what to eat today
the moon in twilight
weak and feeble, old but still —
a goose on the pond
the snowflakes

both flat out
